PermanentLocated at the end of the Truong Son range - Southern Central Highlands at a height that controls neighboring areas, Lam Dong has a very important military strategic position. Lam Dong is an important traffic hub connecting the South with the Central Highlands, connecting the delta with the extreme West of the South Central region.

PermanentDa Lat - Langbiang Plateau has long been the residence of the Lach and Chil people of the Coho ethnic group. It was not until 1893 that Dr. Alexandre Yersin - a Swiss-French man - explored Langbiang and this land developed into an urban area.

PermanentLam Dong is a province with many ethnic groups. According to recent statistics, Lam Dong has up to 42 ethnic groups. Among them, the Ma, Coho and Churu are three ethnic groups that have long lived on this land. Therefore, introducing cultural characteristics of indigenous ethnic groups: Ma, Coho and Churu is one of the main display contents of Lam Dong Museum.

PermanentLam Dong is a mountainous province in the southern Central Highlands with an area of 9,764.79 km2, of which forest area accounts for 618,815 hectares, with a coverage density of 63% of the entire province area. Currently, Lam Dong has two national forests: Bidup Nui Ba national park and part of Cat Tien national park.
